Morning Links…

A quick daily look at what’s happening around Steelers Nation…

– We’re getting close, people. We’re getting close. Players report to training camp on Friday and soon there will be actual football to talk about. We know you’re as excited as we are. Much more stuff to come this week. We promise.

– And for your random YouTube of the day: 1997, Steelers at Ravens. Baltimore dominated the first half and raced out to a 21-0 lead, before going into the break with a 24-7 advantage. The second half, however, was a completely different game. Will Blackwell faked a reverse on the opening kickoff of the second half and returned it 97 yards for a touchdown, and then Kordell Stewart took over by throwing three touchdowns (after throwing three interceptions in the first half) and running for another. It was vintage Kordell Stewart: Flashes of brilliance and moments of incompetence. When he was good, he was great. When he was bad, he was terrible. We saw the best, and worst, of everything he had to offer during this game. He clinched the wild 42-34 win with this 74-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Love the Kordell Stewart clip, but the best part was Myron's line at the end. Man, he was good.

Someone should write a bio and call it “Off the Cuff, Off the Wall.”
