Projected 53-Man Final Roster Entering Camp And Other Goodies

Now that we have completed all the position-by-position, training camp previews, here is the projected 53-man opening-day roster entering camp, predicted opening-day inactives, unlucky last 13 not to make the team, lucky last 13 clinging to a roster spot and the projected eight-man practice squad; all in the highly unlikely event that everyone stays healthy throughout training camp and the preseason. What do you disagree with?

    “OL signed from another team?” That's the best you can do? If not the guys' names, at least tell us the teams.

    Of course what can you expect. WordPress still doesn't know who I am either.

    Israel, before preseason games, how can anyone guess at players one team may be able to sign off another's cut list? I would need to be Nostradamus to pull that off.

    However, the point was that I did not see any young offensive linemen in Steelers' camp worthy of keeping on the practice squad, and we will need at least one and preferably two if we keep only nine offensive linemen on the 53.

    Great post! I would maybe want to have Redman over McHugh but thats up to Redman to be outstanding in short yardage situations during the preseason and camp and Summers to outplay McHugh at blocking right?

    Excellent job. I have a hard time rating Frank Summers above Isaac Redman, and I shudder to think what our special teams may look like, but other than that, this is a pretty solid prediction.

    Will, I would be happy if that happened, but as you said, Summers would have to prove himself as a lead blocker. Plus, how can Redman be any more impressive in camp than he was last year when he still did not make the roster?
