Morning Links (and Daily Thread)…

A quick daily look at what’s happening around Steelers Nation. And consider this your open thread for discussing the days events and, well, anything else that comes to mind about the Black and Gold.

– I think we can all agree that the Steelers offensive line has looked pretty good so far, and was pretty outstanding on Sunday against Tampa Bay. But this week’s game is going to present an entirely new challenge. The Falcons and Titans didn’t really blitz Dennis Dixon all that much, instead forcing the young quarterback to fit passes into tight spaces in coverage, and Tampa Bay doesn’t really have an overwhelming front seven. The Ravens, on the other hand? They’re pretty good, and are more than capable of bringing the house. How worried are you about Steelers O-line and Charlie Batch vs. the Ravens defense?

The Ravens cut Trevor Pryce to add Ken Hamlin to the roster. Given the Steelers’ current need for DL depth with a couple of injuries, and also the use they have made of the lower end of the roster to switch guys out, I’d have to think they will at least give Pryce a look… Also, it wouldn’t hurt to get some info from him about the Ravens’ game prep.

Coughlin did this to the Steelers all the time when he was with the Jags.

Dean…it looks like Trevor Pryce will be returning to the Ravens next week – kind of their version of the Bryon move…..

Yes, but would he turn down a spot on the Steelers’ roster and a slight pay bump?
