For the first time this season Troy Polamalu did not intercept a pass. Well, not one that counted, anyway. With the Steelers in complete control of Sunday’s game in Tampa Bay, Polamalu was taking in some of the fourth quarter from the sidelines when he snagged a Josh Freeman pass. Instinct? Natural reaction? Totally awesome? Yes, yes and yes.
The beauty of this is the fact he had to actually make an effort to go and get it. It’s not like the ball was thrown directly to him. In the end, it just proves that while two-thirds of Earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by Troy Polamalu.
