Horrible start and disappointing finish against the Jets. Despite the loss, the Steelers still clinch a playoff spot, and if they beat the Panthers and the Browns in the coming weeks, they’ll get the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. Which, conceivably, means that Troy could get a month off, and Aaron Smith could be ready to go by January.
So while Sunday blew, it could be worse.
