– Earlier this week the Pittsburgh Steelers made the funny pages. Seriously. [PSAMP]

– The day Dick LeBeau turned the Steelers secondary into championship caliber. [Behind The Steel Curtain]

– And for your random YouTube of the day: Troy Polamalu’s latest Superman leap.

That is an awesome observation from BTSC. I feel a lot better about the prospects of facing the Pats with that secondary, because they don’t have much of a deep threat.

It’s an interesting read for sure. But I kinda agree with one of the comments on the article that the real difference in the pass D is that they aren’t playing against Tom Brady and Belichick. Lebeau will make his adjustments but remember..the Pats will make theirs and won’t come back with the same game plan. I fully expect, if we play NE again, that they will shred McFadden and Gay who are the weak links in our D.

We’ll have to outscore them IMO..and we might be able to do that

Either that, or Dick Lebeau shuts down one of the most prolific offenses in history and further burnishes his image. Quite possible as well.

That’s why they play the games and we get to add our 2 cents worth…
