Steelers Lounge Podcast #41: It’s the Offseason, Part V — Lee Flowers

Not a lot going on but we fired up the podcast anyway because we’re professionals (professionals who don’t get paid but, well, moving on…).

Anyway, it’s Episode 41, which can only mean one thing: our favorite Lee Flowers moment. We also talk about what was going on with the Steelers 12 months ago when the labor dispute wasn’t yet a glint in the owners’ eyes. Back then, we were in the early stages of “Santonio or Ben: Who’s Out First?” Holmes had allegedly thrown a drink at a woman in a bar, and Ben was accused of much, much worse (for the second consecutive offseason).

We then touch on where Heath Miller ranks among NFL tight ends (ESPN didn’t have him in the top 12 for the 2010 season), and then compare Miller to former Steeler Eric Green.

Oh, and we also yap the draft because, you know, that thing is just a month off.

Conversatin’ starts below…

Good stuff. I forgot about Zack Miller

Your opening theme is normal but after that everyone seems to be whispering even wheneverything is set to maximum volume. Anyone else with this issue?

Sounds OK on my end. Anybody else having an issue?

Hmm. Works for me, too. One thing I realized about 20 shows in is that if you listen by clicking the podcast player embedded in the post (instead of say, downloading it from iTunes), you have to increase the volume in the player in addition to your computer’s volume.
