The Steelers are due to be  better on offense next year regardless of who they hire. They'll have a better OL (no Jon Scott next year, healthy Willie Colon), just as good WRs with Brown probably a bit better after getting essentially a full year of starting experience, and (really really hoping here) a healthy Ben for the entire year.  All of these things probably matter more than whomever was going to be hired as OC.  Here’s the thing. The Steelers are due to be  better on offense next year regardless of who they hire. Can't say that I'm thrilled about this, but fine.  Tomlin wants Haley, Tomlin gets Haley.  For me it's still Art Rooney who's mostly on the hotseat here, because I'm not buying any story other than that Rooney wanted Arians out.  But that's the beauty of it-- Rooney could prove to be the wise man, or an idiot.  We'll see.
