Post Trading up in the 1st round?

The Steelers are coming off a good season where they filled may backup positions through last year's draft. I personally feel great teams have good depth and therefore should trade up in the draft. This year I think getting a corner in rounds 1 or 2 is a must, so trading a 2nd is out of the question. I would like to see the Steelers package multiple picks starting with their 1st rd, 3rd rd and next year's 3rd rd in order to trade up for Tyron Smith. If that is even possible many are saying he will be over 300 lbs by the combine and that could catapult him to the #1 OT, but should he fall to #20 I strongly believe we should make every effort to go get him. Who do you think is worth trading up to go after?

That's quite a hefty price to pay for what may not be a position of greatest need.

Remember we have the Hotel and Max Starks under contract already, and Colbert has come out and said they woud like Flozell back. I thought Flozell played really well this year given his age, and his strength was the key to our running attack. If we get Starks, Flozell, and Willie Colon back, do we really need to sacrifice so much for Smith?

The Steelers generally will not spend draft picks to move up unless they feel they have a special player. Troy was definitely worth moving up for - unless the Steelers think there is someone like that in this draft, I say we definitely shouldn't move up.

If I thought we had a chance at a Darrelle Revis-type corner in the first round, I would probably try to move up. But I don't think there's anyone like that in this draft.
